My name is Natnael Aklile and I’m from Silver
Spring, Maryland but originally from Ethiopia. Being from this heritage that my family has,
we consider loyalty and respect as a constant and consistent way of life.
Physically, I call my physical house home because that is where the most important
people to me live but mentally I make everywhere home since my values come with
me. The values that they have installed in me allow me to become my individual
self in this American modern generation but still holding on to my family
ideals.
